Best advise that we obtained in our fight for my hubby's benefits is to get a GOOD advocate. Shop around til you find one that is really willing to work with you. These guys have the scoop that we don't. Our advocate found things that we would never have found on our own. Gave us sound advise and told us things to do that we probably would have never thought to do. We too, lost our home in this fight before we found a good advocate to help us. My guy just got his 70% for PTSD... and he has earned every penny of it and still does. Something that we were told was the 70% is really good because then you can go for the rest in unemployability.... more benefits and several for your family as well... which is also really important. There are going to be a lot of us Viet Nam widows out here with nothing. Go for it and don't give up. Hang in there and DON'T give up.
